Water march for ...
... Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Water is not only needed to live, it is the number one beauty elixir. Drop by drop, it moisturizes and tones the skin from within. Real beauty experts recommend two liters of the bubbling liquid a day. But water can do so much more. Water wellness is a wonderful way to come to terms with yourself. It doesn't necessarily have to be just swimming. Today, pools offer much more: aqua jogging, aqua running, watsu (water shiatsu), wata (water dancing), aqua balancing (water dancing under water), dolphing (diving with a therapist) or floating (an energetic flow under water) are often part of the fitness program. After all, sport under water is not only easy on muscles and joints, it is also a real fat killer. With aqua jogging, for example, you lose 400 calories in just half an hour. In addition, the cardiovascular system is perfectly trained and the connective tissue is strengthened by the water pressure. Goodbye cellulite! But the treasures of the sea also make you beautiful and relaxed. Why not try Thalasso? A bath in seawater salt, mud or algae relaxes and soothes. A body wrap made from seaweed also tones and promotes blood circulation in the skin. A bath in sea salt (use at least one kilo, e.g. from Dermasel, Murnauers) is a real fountain of youth. So, get into the (sea) tub!
Earth strengthens ...
... Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
The mass of volcanic earth is referred to as living mud. The mineral mud, which envelops the whole body, relieves tension, boosts the metabolism and strengthens the immune system. Fango also boosts the production of happiness hormones, making it a real recipe for a good mood. Fango, natural mud or natural peat are also available today in cosmetic and bath products (e.g. Tetesept).
The relaxing Rasul bath also provides a real energy boost. Even Hippocrates loved the various healing clays. Today, the beauty program includes a mud treatment, inhalation, aromatherapy and subsequent massage. It is cleansing, relaxing, stimulates the metabolism and has a gentle exfoliating effect.
Air is good for you ...
... Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Take a deep breath! Breathing helps you to detoxify your body. It supplies it with oxygen, massages your internal organs, removes waste products, gets your circulation going and lifts your mood. But breathing correctly is important. And you can practise this: stand up straight, place your palms on your stomach so that you can feel the movement of your breath. With your mouth closed, breathe deeply through your nose into your stomach and slowly exhale through your mouth.
The so-called prana technique also calms and harmonizes the body. Here's how it works: sit upright and comfortably cross-legged. Place the thumb of your right hand on your right nostril and your middle and ring fingers on your left nostril. Alternately close one nostril and breathe in slowly and out quickly through the free one. Repeat ten times on each side.
The interplay between body movement and natural breathing exercises, yoga, is becoming increasingly popular. No wonder, the body bends are not only fun, they also give you smooth skin, a slim, crisp body and a self-confident posture. Breathing is of course very important. To learn it properly, you should treat yourself to a few training sessions with a professional. In yoga, you breathe through your nose and not into your chest, but into your stomach. Yoga literally pumps the body full of oxygen. This melts away annoying love handles, helps detoxify and trains the entire body.
The simplest oxygen therapy, however, is exercise in the fresh air. Or open the windows and take a deep breath. Oxygenated drinks are new. Water can contain up to 70 milligrams of oxygen per liter. Although 99 percent of oxygen can only enter the body via the lungs, this one percent definitely provides an energy boost and increases performance.
Fire purifies ...
... Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Fire crackles, warms and makes you feel good and relaxed just by cuddling up in front of the fire. But it's especially hot in the sauna. You can literally watch your body detoxify. With every drop of sweat, waste products are flushed out, and the depleted salt deposits on your thighs and bottom are broken down. The alternation of sauna sessions and cold showers also stimulates blood circulation. The skin is cleansed, pink and fresh. The hot bath also trains your heart and circulation, boosts your immune system and even makes you happy. This is because saunas release extra endorphins, the body's own happiness hormones.
Another hot thing is La Stone therapy. Here, hot and cold lava stones are alternately placed on the body's energy centers, i.e. forehead, stomach, back, feet and hands. Warm stones and oil are then used for massage. This is incredibly relaxing and brings you back to top form, both physically and mentally. By the way: the hot lava stones can even be used today for a bio-facelift!
