Beauty mishap no. 1: Slate eyeliner
Concentration, please! Then simply draw the spidery eyeliner a little wider with an eyeliner.
Make-up tip: Next time you apply make-up, place small dots close to the lash line and connect them with a felt-tip liner - it's much easier that way.
Make-up mistake no. 2: Lipstick on the teeth
Oops! It happens even to the pros from time to time. To avoid this embarrassing faux pas in future, run your finger over the inside of your lip shortly after application to remove any excess color. Or even better: use a lip primer straight away.
Styling mistake no. 3: Nail polish mistakes
Don't have a nail polish remover stick to hand? No problem, here's a make-up tip: With an eyeshadow brush and nail polish remover, you can easily correct overpainted color.
Beauty mishap no. 4: Too much foundation
Don't rub it in! Otherwise it will only stain. Instead, dab your complexion with a tissue, then warm your hands and press gently on your face, the foundation will bond with the skin when it is warm.
Make-up flaw no. 5: Smudged mascara
Our make-up tip: Moisten a cotton bud, cotton pad or twisted-in tissue and remove the mascara. If you often struggle with this after applying make-up, a make-up remover stick is a good idea.
Make-up horror no. 6: Eye shadow in the crease of the eye
Did you apply the product in the morning and it's already gone by midday? Carefully spread the color out of the crease with your finger or a cotton pad and dab it back in evenly. To make the transitions less noticeable and look softer, simply go over them with a touch of powder.
Brush mistake no. 7: Too much blush
Transparent powder works wonders and softens the color immediately. A great alternative after a make-up mishap: lightly dampen a tissue and press it onto your cheeks.
Beauty mishap no. 8: Nail polish stains
Freshly painted and already a dent? Then this make-up tip will help: Don't rub it off completely, but pick up a little remover with your fingertip and lightly brush over it. Apply another layer and then apply the top coat again.
