Beauty booster from nature: milk for skin and hair

WOW, what's inside! Vitamins A, B and E smooth the skin, strengthen hair and nails, proteins promote cell growth and stop premature wrinkles. Calcium prevents brittle nails, dry skin and hair loss, milk fats soothe the skin and relieve irritation and lactic acid binds moisture and strengthens the protective acid mantle to ward off harmful environmental influences. Yes, milk is a true miracle elixir straight from nature. We'll tell you what else it can do.

A bath just as Cleopatra loved it...

More radiant sip by sip

Whether pure, as a smoothie or in muesli - 1 glass of milk a day (recommended by experts) also provides you with the best beauty substances for young skin, shiny hair and strong fingernails from the inside. And, of course, it also strengthens your bones and teeth. Cheers! To beauty ...

Bathe in cream

To make the Cleopatra-style magic additive, dissolve 1 teaspoon of honey in 100 ml of cream and 200 ml of milk, add a few rose petals if desired and pour into the warm water. Soak for 15 to 20 minutes and enjoy. Your skin could hardly be softer than after this bath!

Yoghurt is wonderful for your hair

As a treatment, whisk 150 g natural yoghurt with 1 egg yolk, 3 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp honey and massage into damp hair. Leave on for 20 minutes under cling film and a pre-warmed towel, then wash out with a mild milk shampoo (e.g. Nivea). The milk protein in yoghurt is similar to the natural hair building block keratin, restoring suppleness and shine to dry manes.

Sour cream sweetens the décolleté

To refresh tired winter skin and plump up fine wrinkles, mix this mask: core 1 apple, cut into thin slices or grate finely. Spread 2 tablespoons of sour cream or sour cream on the décolleté, spread the apple on top and rinse off with lukewarm water after 10 - 15 minutes.

Buttermilk makes baby's hands soft

Icy cold and heating air stress the hands, making them rough and cracked. What really helps is a hand bath made from 1 cup of buttermilk, 1 cup of camomile tea and 1 tablespoon of honey. After 10 minutes, wash the "velvet paws" briefly, pat dry and apply a thick layer of cream.

Whole milk for a full scrub

Stir 1 tbsp of oat bran and 2 tbsp of brown sugar into 60 ml of milk (3.5% fat), spread gently in a circular motion over the body and rinse off with a lukewarm shower. The cream scrub gently removes dead skin cells and nourishes intensively with the fat from the milk.
