Argan oil has full beauty power
Moroccan Berber women discovered the beauty power of argan oil, also known as the golden elixir, centuries ago and rubbed it into their skin and hair. Today, the precious oil, which is extracted from the seeds of the argan tree in south-western Morocco, is also in great demand here - pure or as an additive in cosmetic products.
What argan oil can do
➼ Rich in antioxidants such as vitamin E, argan oil protects the skin from cell-damaging free radicals and therefore from premature ageing. Top: Its high content of essential fatty acids strengthens the skin's protective barrier.
➼ As it also has intensive moisturizing and regenerating properties, argan oil is the ideal care partner for dry, mature skin. It is also used for atopic dermatitis as it promotes the healing process of inflamed areas.
In hair care, the luxury oil is also a star: after all, argan oil nourishes brittle manes, makes them easier to comb and locks in moisture, which prevents split ends.
