Gently lighten pigmentation spots: For a beautiful, even complexion

Smile lines, dimples, freckles and small expression lines look charming - age spots on the face, hands and arms are less so. "Age spots are the new wrinkles" is an increasingly common saying. Studies have shown that an even, light complexion often looks more attractive and younger than skin that appears uneven due to these so-called hyperpigmentations.

The tanning enzyme tyrosinase is inhibited

DERMASENCE has developed a lightening fluid that both prevents the formation of hyperpigmentation and improves the appearance of the skin. The reason: it contains a tyrosinase inhibitor. Tyrosinase is an enzyme produced naturally in the body that is involved in the production of melanin and ensures that our skin is protected from the sun. Unfortunately, it also causes pigmentation disorders and age spots.

Age spots have various causes

These age spots are mainly caused by too much sun - over many years. Medication, hormone fluctuations, cosmetics or inflammatory processes such as acne can also cause the dark spots.

Successful treatment used to be complicated

In addition to the pigment melanin, lipofuscin is also responsible for the formation of the spots. Lipofuscin is a waste product of cell metabolism and is the pigment that causes skin spots. This combination of melanin and lipofuscin is what makes the successful treatment of age spots so difficult. And this is where DERMASENCE comes in with its "MelaBlok" product: The combination of active ingredients reduces melanin formation - and lipofuscin - thanks to its antioxidant and lightening effect.

Special active ingredients lighten the annoying spots

And this is how the ingredients work: the root extract "Boerhavia diffusa" reduces melanin formation. "Hexylresorcinol" inhibits the melanin-stimulating enzyme tyrosinase. Licorice root extract has a brightening effect and reduces inflammation. Vitamin C and Q-10 protect against oxidative cell damage. A fruit acid complex with glycolic acid refines the complexion, stimulates cell renewal and ensures an even distribution of melanin in the skin. The recommended duration of application is at least eight weeks, after which good results can be seen. However, you should always combine the treatment with a sun protection factor, as the formation of the tanning pigment melanin is inhibited.
