I've earned it: the stress-release-after-pampering program

The Advent season is usually a busy time. This makes it all the more important to take some time out. These tips will turn your bathroom into an island of peace.

Get through the pre-Christmas period relaxed

Baking cookies, buying presents, doing handicrafts with the children, buying and decorating a Christmas tree and thinking up a multi-course menu for Christmas Eve - the run-up to Christmas is great, but it can also get on your nerves. High time for a little pampering break. Here's how:

Soul in harmony

Ah, finally time for me! Turn your bathroom into your own spa. Light a few candles to quickly conjure up a relaxing light, set up an aroma diffuser, preferably with therapeutic fragrances such as calming lavender or mood-lifting citrus scents. Prepare your favorite tea and treat yourself to the first soothing sips - perhaps sitting on the edge of the bathtub. This will quickly immerse you in your relaxation phase.

Body soft to the touch

Run a warming bath and pour in a fragrant bubble bath. Slide in and close your eyes for a moment. All tension will fall away from you. For silky-soft, rosy, shimmering skin, a gentle body scrub is just the thing: it removes dead skin cells so that the care substances in the body lotion applied after the bath can be absorbed even better. Then snuggle up in your bathrobe and feel a little - it feels so good.

A radiantly beautiful face

Day and night care are part of the standard program, but for the wellness effect you can shift up a gear - pamper your complexion with a highly concentrated ampoule of active ingredients (tailored to your skin's needs), or use a face mask with moisturizing hyaluronic acid or aloe vera - preferably in the form of cool sheet masks, which are all the rage at the moment. And they conjure up a refreshed, radiant complexion in just 15 minutes. How great!

Hair in top condition

Dull, weak and stressed? Stress often leaves its mark on our hair too. Take care of your hair, because constant stress can even lead to hair loss in the long term. To prevent this from happening in the first place, give your hair an extra portion of care in the form of a deep-acting intensive mask or treatment. These or the practical leave-in products are available to suit every hair type. New and particularly beautiful in winter: Masks with a thermal effect - this increases the care factor. Great for more brilliance: hair oil (apply to damp hair).
