Wild rose for red veins
Effect: Essential wild rose oil helps with enlarged veins and stimulates cell renewal. It also promotes collagen production within the connective tissue and is therefore ideal for preventing cellulite. Recipe: Add ten drops of wild rose essential oil to two tablespoons of carrier oil, for example almond oil or olive oil, and mix. Add the oil to the bath water.
Sea salt for the metabolism
Effect: A salt bath boosts the metabolism and stimulates blood circulation. Recipe: The application is very simple: add 500 grams of dead sea salt (drugstore or pharmacy) to the running bath water, sit in and relax. If you tend to have dry skin, you should apply cream or oil thoroughly after drying off. It is best to lie down for half an hour to an hour afterwards.
Milk makes skin velvety soft
Effect: Cleopatra used to pamper her body with milk baths. It doesn't have to be donkey's milk - normal whole milk will do. Recipe: Mix a liter of milk, a cup of cream and two tablespoons of honey, pour into the running bath water and enjoy.
Spruce needles to help you fall asleep
Effect: If you find it difficult to wind down in the evening, you should try a spruce needle bath. The scent alone is relaxing and makes you feel wonderfully tired. Recipes: Collect three thin spruce twigs during a walk in the forest. Cut them into small pieces and boil them in a liter of water for ten minutes. Leave the brew to infuse for a further ten minutes, strain and add to the bath water. If you don't have a forest nearby, you can also simply buy spruce needle oil (pharmacy). Add four drops to the water.
