Daily care routine: Should we do it for ourselves every day
Smile more beautifully with brushed teeth
All good things come in twos - at least when it comes to oral hygiene. Brushing your teeth every morning and evening is a must. It is best to use dental floss beforehand to clean the spaces between your teeth. Because then we have a good laugh - and the dentist is happy too.
Cleanse your face and moisturize well
The be-all and end-all for beautiful skin: wash your face in the morning and evening. This is the only way to remove make-up, cream residue, dirt particles and dust thoroughly. After using cleansing milk or cleansing gel, use a cotton pad soaked in toner to remove any remaining residue. And then apply a good cream to the skin. During the day, use a sunscreen to protect the skin from UV rays, which accelerate the ageing process. In the evening, a night cream helps the skin to regenerate and allows us to wake up in the morning not only refreshed, but well cared for.
Brush styling residue out of your hair
100 brush strokes like in grandma's day are no longer necessary, but we should brush out residue from styling products such as hairspray, wax or gel thoroughly every evening. Otherwise, the hair can become tangled or sticky the next day and, in the worst case, even break off.
Always condition your hair after every wash
Very important: use a conditioner after every (!) hair wash. This is really quick: simply distribute the extra conditioner through your hair, then comb through the lengths and ends with your fingers and then rinse well. Even the most unruly tresses can then be styled with ease.
Shaving for more legroom
Whether on the legs or under the arms - we should remove annoying stubble hairs every day. If you want to save time, you can also epilate the hairs, in which case the skin remains smooth and soft for up to six weeks.
Pamper your body with rich care
To replenish moisture deposits, apply cream to the skin after every shower or bath.
Weekly beauty tips: once, twice or several times a week is ideal
A little scrub for soft skin
After a gentle exfoliation, a dull complexion shines rosy and fresh again. The reason: loose flakes of skin are removed and blood circulation is stimulated. The active ingredients of the subsequent skincare can also be better absorbed. Of course, this also applies to the body scrub.
Full wrap for skin and hair
Off to the mask! Ideally once a week. Tip: Plan a Saturday or Sunday for this. Put the special care product in your hair and also apply a mask to your face. And then ideally lie in the bathtub. The warm steam ensures that the ingredients can penetrate even better.
Well-groomed right down to the fingertips
Beautiful hands speak volumes. That's why we not only moisturize them after every wash, but also give them a manicure every week to file the nails into shape. The cuticles are also treated with oil and gently pushed back with a rosewood stick. Finally, the nails can be painted as desired.
Shaped brows enlarge the eyes
Full, bushy brows are all the rage now. To prevent them from "pressing" on the eye, pluck out the hairs every few days with tweezers. Tip: it's best to have them shaped once by a beautician and then touch them up yourself.
Monthly beauty plan: what we treat ourselves to every four weeks
Individual treatment at the beautician
Facial cleansing, peeling and mask are one thing, thorough cleansing is another. Every four to eight weeks, the beautician removes blackheads and frees the skin from impurities. After a thorough analysis, she can also tell you what the skin really needs in terms of active ingredients.
Refresh haircut and hair color
Anyone who has their first grey hair and tints, colors or highlights it knows that the roots that grow out need to be dyed regularly. Depending on how quickly the hair grows, every four to six weeks. The ends of your hair should also be trimmed every six to eight weeks so that split ends don't stand a chance.
Getting toenails in shape
Fortunately, they don't grow quite as quickly as our fingernails. That's why it's enough to trim toenails every four to six weeks. Important: Cut straight across with nail clippers so that nothing grows in. Smooth the nails with a file and round them off slightly - and paint as desired.
