Profile
Martina lives in Lüneburg with her husband and two children (aged 13 and 15). The passionate housewife is an open, cheerful type who enjoys looking after the whole family. Martina is 1.64 m tall, wears size 46 and has size 40 shoes.
Her wish:
After a serious spinal operation, I gained 20 kilos. Since then, I no longer feel attractive when I look in the mirror. I look older than I feel and I'm hoping that the makeover will give me more self-confidence.
Outfit 1: Red is the trump card
Bordeaux makes Martina's complexion glow. Combined with black and white and lace-up shoes, the look really comes into its own. In vogue: cute bow details.
Outfit 2: Hard & soft
Biker jacket and floral shirt are an exciting duo. The skinny jeans create ideal proportions.
Outfit 3: Flattering look
The parka and dress are a perfect match. Great: XL scarf and ankle boots add a nice stretch.
Outfit 4: Cool denim styling
There's a touch of the 80s in this casual mix of denim jacket, trousers and long shirt. Fun eye-catcher: a striped shirt peeking out.
The make-up: contouring for more expression
Make-up artist Anke Luchmann from IsaDora explains the make-up technique.
What is important when contouring?
Anke Luchmann: The make-up base tone should be precisely matched to your own skin tone. Everything that is shaded darker recedes visually, while lighter areas stand out. Instead, create highlights under the brow bone, cheekbones, bridge of the nose and chin.
Does this work for every face shape?
Anke Luchmann: Yes, it works. Depending on the basic shape, you can make the face appear narrower, visually shorter or fuller.
Can I apply contouring make-up myself?
Anke Luchmann: With a little practice, yes. Contouring powder is best suited for this because color gradients are easier to apply.
What products do you need for the technique?
Anke Luchmann: A brush or sponge conjures up perfect transitions. Whether powder or foundation, a lighter and a darker shade are essential to create the contouring effect.
