Profile
Silke comes from Besigheim, a small town north of Stuttgart. The secondary school and guidance teacher is sporty and travels a lot. At weekends, she always accompanies her football-loving son to his games. Silke is 1.54 m tall, wears size 34 clothes and size 36 shoes.
Her wish:
I go round in circles when it comes to clothes. I'm relatively unimaginative and haven't tried anything new for years. I always wear the same look in my free time and at work.
Outfit 1: On patrol with the trends
The figure-hugging striped dress makes Silke look more feminine. Tip: Accessories and shoes should be kept to a minimum so that the outfit doesn't look too restless.
Outfit 2: Step by step to an eye-catcher
How to turn a shirt and 7/8 trousers into a trendy look: delicate jewelry and pink wedges make all the difference.
Outfit 3: Sexy duo: flowers & lace
Shorts and a floral top compete with each other. Very modern too: Clogs that conjure up beautiful long legs.
Outfit 4: Sweet hippie style
Slip in, done! Hardly any other item of clothing is as practical as the jumpsuit. The highlight: the leg length is visually elongating, which is perfect for Silke's height.
The hair: a new twist with "balayage"
Master hairdresser & senior stylist Ilka Fischer explains what's important when it comes to the highlighting technique.
What's so special about this trend?
Ilka Fischer:"With this type of highlighting technique, the color is painted onto the hair with a brush. This allows specific areas to be emphasized, such as the contour around the face."
Is there anything specific to bear in mind?
Ilka Fischer: " Typical for balayage is that the strands become lighter and lighter towards the end of the hair. You have to make sure that the color gradient is very soft, as this is the only way to make the styling look great even on straight hair."
Which hair is suitable for balayage?
Ilka Fischer: "Thebest prerequisite for the highlights is shoulder-length hair - perfect for Silke."
