"I'd mentally given up on the fringe trend"
I can still remember the eighties, when leather jackets with fringes were all the rage. Back then, fringed leather jackets were preferably worn with jeans and cowboy boots. I'll be honest, I don't long to go back to that style. Back then, I even had a small beige fringed suede bag. At some point, I got rid of it because I had given up on the fringe trend.
The return of fashion with fringes
I have to be honest and admit that I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the return of fringed fashion around three years ago. At the time, I couldn't imagine ever taking part in this trend again.
I can't say exactly when my taste changed or what exactly happened to make me suddenly fall in love with fringes or, more precisely, fringed bags. I kept catching myself looking at how much I liked fringed bags on other women.
Fringed bags are a great eye-catcher
For me, fringed bags are now a great eye-catcher. They come in all kinds of variations with short or long fringes. For a festive occasion, for example, a clutch with fringes looks really good. For leisure or other occasions, a pouch bag or a shopping bag with fringes is ideal. Fringed bags are available in suede, smooth leather or faux leather.
This fringed bag in anthracite is available from Witt Weiden / création L. When I discovered the saddle bag with the long fringes, I was immediately smitten. As you can see, to my own surprise, the fringed trend is causing me quite a lot of enthusiasm.
In my next article, I'll show you two outfits with the fringed bag.
Until then, yours
