1. stretch the waistband
Especially when jeans come out of the wash wet or damp, they are easy to stretch. That's why it's a good trick to clamp an elastic band into the waistband after washing. In theory, you can use anything that puts tension on the waistband. You will be amazed at how quickly you can achieve results!
2. put on damp jeans
Some of us still know the old trick: slip into your jeans while they are still damp - and they fit like a glove. The fibers stretch very easily so that they actually fit like a glove afterwards. You don't have to do this every time, because the fibers give way in the long run. You just need a little sporting ambition to squeeze them in after washing, but what won't you do for your favorite jeans!

3. iron the jeans
Either the jeans only pinch in certain places or they are too tight overall. This means that you simply iron the pants where necessary or go over the entire piece once with the iron. Here too: Please do this while damp!
Tip: Do not put jeans in the dryer
Many denim fabrics are delicate, which is why they should be washed on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. Above all, however, you should not put the pants in the dryer, as the fibers will shrink. So if you want to avoid your jeans getting tighter and tighter, don't put them in the tumble dryer.
