Rock it baby!

Which skirt suits me? Which shape and length flatters my figure and legs? Which skirt conjures up a flattering figure? I will show you what is important when buying a skirt.

If you have a model figure with long, slender legs, you can of course wear any length of skirt. But how many of us have a model figure? Depending on your build, height and leg shape, different skirt shapes and lengths will look more or less flattering. I'll tell you here which skirt will best accentuate your figure.

The pleated skirt - pleats expressly desired

Pleats are not always desirable - but in this case they are, because they perfectly conceal a small bottom and slightly thicker thighs and hips. The slight A-line shape skims over these problem areas masterfully. Choose your ideal length depending on your size. For tall women, a pleated skirt can be calf-length; for shorter women, a knee-length skirt is ideal.

The balloon skirt - for narrow and wide hips

Balloon skirts require a slim torso, beautiful knees and legs and slim ankles. In between, it conceals anything that is too wide, too narrow, too small or too thin. On the one hand, it can conjure up more volume, on the other hand, it conceals many a little bump. Wide hips disappear under the "inflated" shape, while hips that are too narrow appear wider. The same applies to thick or thin thighs or a small bottom. The volume of a balloon skirt perfectly conceals problem areas between the waist and hem.

The wrap skirt - flatters every figure!

As the name suggests, the wrap skirt fits every body perfectly and is therefore suitable for almost every figure type. When buying, make sure that the skirt is not too tight , otherwise the panels will be crooked and no longer straight The wrap skirt is available in a mini version, knee-length or long. Decide for yourself which length shows off your legs to best advantage.

The pencil skirt - for a slim look!

The classic skirt doesn't just look good on slim women - that's a common misconception. No, women with curves in particular look indescribablyfeminine in a pencil skirt. Very slim women, on the other hand, often look like a beanpole in a pencil skirt, as this skirt shape is also known. The length of the skirt depends on the shape of your legs, especially the knees. This type of skirt can be worn from a hand's width above the knee to calf-length.

The mini skirt - for shapely legs

An absolute eye-catcher - the mini skirt. If you choose this skirt shape, you should have a slim figure with shapely, well-groomed legs, preferably well-trained and slightly tanned. With opaque, dark tights or leggings, mini skirts can also look good on slightly fuller ladies.

The A-line skirt - one for all!

If you don't know which skirt shape suits you best, start with an A-line skirt. This cut really flatters every figure - regardless of whether you are slim or have a bit of love handles and thicker thighs.

The right length - mini, midi or maxi

Depending on the shape of your legs, one length or the other is more suitable. The mini skirt is reserved for slim women with shapely legs. There is a simple rule of thumb for the midi skirt length. If your legs are too thin, the hem should end at the widest part of your calves. If you have strong calves, it is ideal if the hem ends just above the calves, where they become thinner towards the knee. A maxi skirt is ideal for tall women. Small, slim women can also wear them. It usually ends at ankle height.

As you can see, whatever your figure, there is the right skirt for all body types. You just have to find the right cut for you.
