"Hair care when my hair is a little dry and brittle"
In the 40s, the body gradually produces less oestrogen. The sex hormone is responsible for the growth of our hair, among other things. If the hormone concentration changes, this also affects the hair structure. This can result in a duller or drier mop of hair and a straw-like appearance. Hair care shampoos and conditioners based on argan oil now provide plenty of moisture and restore a healthy shine to the strands. A hair oil pampers the lengths and ends. Massage in sparingly after washing your hair and leave to dry.
"My mane looks limp and fine"
The fluctuating oestrogen content can also cause the mane to lose fullness. A scalp tonic (e.g. the "Aktiv Tonic" from Crisan, approx. 4 euros, in drugstores) can help here. Its amino acids strengthen the hair roots and thus prevent hair loss. Apply a few drops to the scalp 3-4 times a week for hair care. After six months, the mane will look thicker again. A silica gel from the pharmacy strengthens the scalp from the inside: dissolve a tablespoon in water every day and drink. However, if significantly more than one hundred hairs fall out per day, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.
"I want to cover my gray hair"
Coloring at the hairdresser conceals grey highlights for a particularly long time. It can be used to both lighten and darken the natural hair color. After four to eight weeks, however, the regrown roots must be re-colored. A special color protection shampoo protects the color pigments from fading for longer when washing.
