First apply a curl mousse to the roots for fullness and elasticity. Ideally, the product should also have integrated heat protection. Dry the hair upside down, then curl strand by strand with a curling iron (step 1)...
First, apply a mousse to towel-dried hair for more body, dry lightly upside down with a hairdryer, then blow dry the hair completely strand by strand using a large round brush with natural hair bristles. Now take a wide-tooth comb and tease the hair strand by strand from the roots (step 1).
Dust a little volumizing powder onto each strand or, alternatively, spray each strand with dry shampoo - in both cases, the matting texture gives the hair more hold and grip (step 2). Shape the hair into the desired shape and finish the result with hair lacquer.
If the ends are dry and damaged, add a leave-in conditioner or a little hair oil, then apply a spray conditioner to the roots. Lightly pre-dry the hair with a hairdryer, then blow-dry it back in sections using a medium-sized round brush (step 1). This gives the hair a good hold and tension and makes it fall beautifully. It also closes the hair cuticle and gives the hair a beautiful shine.
This look is an ideal option for the day after the curly head. Use a straightening iron to take some volume out of the curl, leaving out the ends (step 1). If you are starting from scratch, use the styling iron to create a somewhat unruly texture in the hair, i.e. sometimes a curl here, sometimes a curl there (yes, you can also make curls with a straightening iron. They are just not as "round" as with a curling iron!)
Then add some mattifying, texturizing spray to the hair to create a messy, tousled effect (step 2). Pluck the hair into shape, let a few front strands fall casually into the face and tuck the rest behind the ear. Finish with hairspray.
Dry the hair, then use the straightener to create the trendy sleek look. Create a tight side parting (step 1), apply a little styling cream or hair gloss to the palms of your hands, go over your hair and fix the sleek look (step 2). A touch of hairspray provides hold.
