They make us look beautiful
For a fresh and youthful look, beautifully highlighted eyes are of course the be-all and end-all. In everyday life, a thin layer of brown or black mascara is often enough. It coats and lengthens the delicate lash hairs and opens up the eyes. This immediately makes us look more awake and rested. Eye make-up further emphasizes the effect. In the evening, the colors can be a little stronger and richer. Darker shades such as violet, anthracite, midnight blue or black make a splash here. During the day, on the other hand, more subtle natural shades such as beige, golden brown or gray are the best choice.
Priming the eyelid
Start by highlighting the entire movable eyelid with a beige powder eyeshadow. This works well with a special eyeshadow brush. Apply some color to the inner corner of the eye and below the brow bone. This creates a dewy look and makes the area appear slightly larger.
Shade out the crease of the eyelid
A bronze-brown shimmer eyeshadow adds the finishing touch to the look. Dab color onto the crease of the eyelid using a small rounded brush. Then blend the powder in both directions, eyes and ear. There should be a fine color gradient from a lighter inner corner to a more accentuated outer corner of the eye
Extra tip: A delicate eyeliner with white kajal (in drugstores, approx. 3 euros) makes the eyes shine brightly. To do this, draw a fine line close to the upper lash line and then blend the color softly with your fingertip. Then apply a white dab to the inner corner of the eye and also blend lightly.
