Just recently, we were able to marvel at how the professionals conjure up highlights on the face with hip make-up techniques, such as strobing (meaning "to illuminate") or contouring (contouring with highlighter and bronzer). Now the next trend is already here - and it's a big one: the make-up matte look does exactly the opposite. The key here is to coordinate the make-up with muted shades. No shimmer is used to enhance the skin, eyes, lips and nails.

Complexion

Even, fine skin forms the basis for the look. To prevent the face from starting to shine after a short time, special powders and make-up with a matt effect simply absorb excess sebum. A blush without shiny pigments then gives the skin a natural freshness.
