Rejuvenating make-up
Corrective cosmetics and slightly shimmering accents make your face glow!
Even out your complexion
Over the years, facial skin often appears tired and sallow. Nourishing anti-ageing make-up and powders with an apricot tint neutralize this effect with their colour pigments and also provide the skin with firming active ingredients and plenty of moisture. Powdery cream eyeshadows in light champagne and rosé shades make the eyes look more rested and conceal the first laugh lines.
Beware of all products with glitter particles: they settle in the delicate eye wrinkles and emphasize them. Also avoid metallic eyeshadows. In general, it is better to use only slightly shiny and moisturizing cream textures. These are ideal for mature complexions.
Add subtle highlights
Delicately shimmering highlighters in cool mother-of-pearl shades (e.g. the liquid "roll-on highlighter" from Vichy, approx. 15 euros, in pharmacies) create a fresh look. Apply a touch to the cheekbones, under the brow arches and on the bridge of the nose and blend everything in thoroughly with your fingers. If you like, you can also apply a dab close to the inner corner of the eye. This opens up the eyes.
Rosy apple cheeks: A touch of cool cheek rouge in soft pink or mauve tones cleverly shapes tired skin. Smile in the mirror and apply a little powder sparingly to the cheekbones. Now blend everything in carefully with a clean powder brush. This creates a particularly natural look, just like after a walk.
Delicate lip colors: Bright and dark lip colors can stand out in the fine lip lines and quickly look too harsh. Instead, opt for glossy rosewood tones: they make lips fuller and give the face a lively look.
Type-appropriate care
Beauty products from the cosmetics shelf help the skin to stay firm and elastic for longer. So it's always worth paying attention to the right ingredients!
Who wouldn't want an even and rosy complexion without pigmentation spots? Although it is impossible to prevent the skin from maturing and developing wrinkles, a healthy lifestyle and the right skincare can delay these effects somewhat.
Renew cells with stimulating retinol
Retinol is produced by our body from foods containing vitamin A, such as carrots and fish, where it is particularly responsible for the skin. Over the course of time, less and less of the substance is produced, meaning that the skin is less able to renew itself than it was at the age of 20. Products containing retinol compensate for the deficiency and spur the cells on to new peak performances.
Firming and tightening with protective vitamin C
The all-rounder vitamin forms the protein collagen in our cells, which strengthens the connective tissue. Vitamin C products reinforce the effect from the outside and protect against UV radiation and environmental pollution.
Plumping up wrinkles with smoothing hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is produced in the cells of our connective tissue. If production decreases, the skin appears less plump. In creams, the acid provides more volume.
Revitalize the eye area
Moisturizing creams reduce puffiness and smooth wrinkles. Apply a few dabs along the puffiness and spread with your little finger in the direction of the ear. This stimulates the lymph.
Reduce expression lines
Regular massages with so-called hyaluronic acid-based wrinkle filler creams make pronounced nasolabial folds look smoother. Apply a strip of cream directly to the wrinkle and massage in thoroughly.
