Smokey eyes step by step

1. first cover dark shadows and imperfections under the eye with a concealer. This is best applied with a brush or gently tapped in with your finger. You can see which shade is right for you in the video tutorial here.

2. apply a little primer to the movable eyelid. It makes the make-up last longer and prevents the eyeshadow from sliding into the crease.

3. apply the lightest shade of the eyeshadow palette to the eyelid. Apply a bronze transition shade to the crease of the eyelid with a brush and blend gently.

4 Now use a brush to apply a smoky brown shade to the outer corner of the movable lid and along the lower lash line. Gently blend the transitions with a brush.

5. a dark brown or black eyeliner completes the smokey eye look. It is applied along the upper lash line and on the lower waterline.

6 Apply a little highlighter to the inner corner of the eye and under the eyebrow for an awake look.

7. use an eyelash curler to gently shape the upper lashes. For more fullness, first apply mascara primer to the lashes. Then apply black mascara to the upper and lower lashes.
