Although we can only dream of summer temperatures at the moment, the Berlin Blonds have already had a look around to see what trends we will be wearing on our noses in summer 2017. Tanja Bülter and Natascha Ochsenknecht let eyewear expert Peter Meux show them what sunglasses trends we can look forward to this year.

Sunglasses 2017: color, color, color

The Fashion Weeks in the fashion capitals have already shown it: powder shades are back in fashion this summer season. And of course, the eyewear industry is not immune to what is strolling down the catwalk. Frames in soft nude and powder shades are all the rage in spring and summer 2017.

While metal frames are no longer quite so popular, this summer we are seeing all the more models made from acetate, i.e. plastic. They are much more expressive, according to the expert.

A trend from the 50s is experiencing a revival: cateye sunglasses. They are characterized by their tapered frame.

When buying glasses, however, it is of course not only important whether the frame is currently on trend, but also whether it suits the shape of the face and fits well.
