Anyone who would like to see Hannelore Hoger in her signature role one last time will have the opportunity to do so on March 24, 2018. ZDF will be showing the last episode of the crime series at 8.15 pm.

Shortly before his retirement, public prosecutor Mehlhorn invites Bella Block to dinner to ask her for help with his last explosive case. But before he can take Bella into his confidence, Mehlhorn is killed in an attack that Bella only escapes by chance. The investigation leads Inspector Schnaak and Bella into a swamp of corruption and abuse of office in the ranks of the Hamburg judiciary and a municipal housing association. Who was Mehlhorn too close to that he had to die? His secret documents put the spotlight on respected citizens of the city: a municipal building director and his sister, a well-known family court judge, a notorious real estate lawyer, but also Mehlhorn's superior, Hamburg's Attorney General. Despite massive pressure from all sides, Bella is undeterred in her fight against evil.
