Second season of "Die Heiland - Wir sind Anwalt"
Shortly before Lisa Martinek's tragic death, ARD had announced that there would be a second season of the series "Die Heiland - Wir sind Anwalt". The 47-year-old had played the lead role. "Lisa Martinek made the role of the blind lawyer Romy Heiland, modeled on Pamela Pabst, perfectly her own," said Daria Moheb Zandi, editor at Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg. After the sudden, tragic accident of the popular actress, it was initially unclear how the format would continue.
"Her sudden death has deeply affected everyone involved. Nevertheless, we - those involved in the production company and the editorial team - believe that it is possible and right to continue the series while retaining the character and the established series cosmos.
New leading actress confirmed
It has already been decided who will take on the role of lawyer Romy Heiland in the future. Actress Christina Athenstädt has made a lasting impression on the editorial team and production with her interpretation of the character and her precise, multi-faceted and straightforward performance, explained Das Erste in a statement. From November 19, the 40-year-old, who is known from TV productions such as "Der Bergdoktor" and "Familie Dr. Kleist", will be in front of the camera in Berlin for the second season.
