Duchess Catherine donates 20 centimeters of hair for children with cancer

Her long, thick, dark brown hair is her trademark, but Duchess Catherine was apparently happy to part with it for a good cause. As has now been revealed, Prince William's wife donated a whopping 18 centimetres of her hair.

It's no secret that she has a big heart. Duchess Catherine has now proven this once again. Prince William's wife, who is expecting their third child soon, let her hair down! And not even a little of it. The 36-year-old has now had a proud 18 centimetres of her mop cut off - for a good cause.

Children are particularly important to her. For this reason, according to a report in the "Daily Express", Duchess Catherine has now donated 18 centimetres of her hair and given it to the "Little Princess Trust". The organization uses the donated hair to make wigs for children who are suffering from cancer and have no hair left due to chemotherapy.

Duchess Catherine makes an anonymous donation

According to the Daily Express, Duchess Catherine had actually wanted to keep her generous donation a secret, but the campaign became public knowledge. Which child will be able to adorn themselves with the royal hair in future, however, remains a secret.

The Duchess and her husband Prince William are known for their sense of charity. Just recently, the royal couple donated 2.7 million dollars to a health campaign.

Duchess Catherine's latest gesture once again proves that the beautiful brunette has a big heart - and we're sure she can wear the Lob trend hairstyle beautifully too!
