"Heldt": New season underway, season 8 is in the works

The "Heldt" of the early evening series is back. The popular ZDF series about the unconventional inspector Nikolas Heldt and the competent public prosecutor Ellen Bannenberg started with 15 new episodes at the end of September - and there is the prospect of more.

Ellen (Janine Kunze), Heldt (Kai Schumann) and Grün (Timo Dierkes) can be seen again every Wednesday at 7.25 pm on ZDF.

New season of "Heldt" already underway

Complicated criminal cases in the Ruhr area and an equally complicated affair challenge Heldt, played by Kai Schumann, and Bannenberg, played by Janine Kunze, once again in the seventh season. The mismatched couple almost made their previously secret liaison public. However, the strict compliance rules, which Chief Inspector Grün pointed out just in time, put a spanner in the works. So now they have to remain professional and not let their feelings for each other show.

Season 8 in planning

In the new season of "Heldt", things remain exciting between the eponymous detective and his colleague. And fans of the popular series can already look forward to more episodes. "While the episodes are running, we're already filming the 8th season with the 100th episode of 'Heldt', which is a huge gift in today's media landscape," revealed Janine Kunze (44) in an interview with spot on news. Since the summer, the actors have been in front of the camera for an eighth season and the anniversary episode.

The new season of "Heldt" is broadcast every Wednesday at 7.25 pm on ZDF. The new episodes are available in the ZDF media library one week before they are broadcast.
