Mother Lillemor doesn't know the truth

Jette (Paula Schramm) works as a waitress and has been putting her own needs on the back burner for years. She sacrificially and lovingly takes care of her blind father Henrik (Leonard Lansink), who raised her alone. Suddenly she learns that she was switched at birth and actually comes from the wealthy Borgen family. Naturally, she now wants to meet her biological mother Lillemor (Marion Kracht). But Nele (Nina Brandt), who grew up with the Borgens instead of Jette, and her brother Malte (Tobias van Dieken) want to prevent this at all costs. Because Lillemor doesn't know the truth!

The inheritance in danger

But things get even more dramatic: as Lillemor's child, Jette would naturally be entitled to her share of the family business. Nele and Malte can't risk that under any circumstances and quickly hire lawyer Steffen Kronberg (Max Woelky): He is to keep Jette away from the family by any means necessary. But they have not reckoned with the smart lawyer ...
