Lilly and Boris Becker separate after 13 years

They were a couple for 13 years, nine of them married. In February 2010, the birth of their son Amadeus crowned their love. Now it's over. Lilly and Boris Becker have separated.

Love break-up with the Beckers: Rumors of a crisis have often been heard.

"Our clients have parted amicably and amicably," reads a statement from Becker's lawyer, confirming a report in Bild. The couple asked for the child's privacy to be respected above all else.

Separation after 13 years of relationship

The ex-tennis pro and the Dutch beauty met in Miami in 2005. Four years later - in summer 2009 - the couple said yes to each other. Their son is now eight years old. "After 13 years of relationship and more than nine years of marriage, this decision was not easy for Mrs. and Mr. Becker," the statement continues. "The most important thing for both clients is the well-being of their son Amadeus."

This is the second failed marriage for Becker. His marriage to Barbara lasted from 1993 to 2001 and they have two sons, Elias and Noah.
