At last! After weeks of speculation, Prince Harry and his Meghan have now personally announced the birth of the royal offspring on their Instagram account. And it's a boy! The couple had not previously announced the sex of their first-born.
The post simply shows a dark blue picture with the caption "It's a boy!". The couple also wrote:
We are delighted to announce that Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcomed their first child in the early morning of May 6, 2019.
The little prince weighs 3,260 grams. The statement continues: "The Duchess and baby are both healthy and doing well, and the couple would like to thank the nation for their anticipation and support at this special time in their lives."
