Máxima and Willem-Alexander visit Great Britain

It has been 35 years since the Queen received a Dutch head of state. Now she welcomed the royal couple Máxima and Willem-Alexander to Buckingham Palace. The two-day state visit with a full program seems to have been a complete success. And even at the farewell, they took a knee in perfect form!

State banquet at Buckingham Palace - Máxima impressed in a beautiful dress with a color gradient, glitter elements and a transparent cape by Dutch designer Jan Taminiau. The Queen was classically elegant in cream and white, while Camilla loves the A-line of her coat dresses.

Phew, done - finally standing again!

A greeting to kneel down to

Yes, the royal couple Máxima and Willem-Alexander are tall - and the Queen is not overly tall. It didn't help: deep knee bends were required to greet them at eye level. I wonder if the two of them practiced this at home? After all, you don't just have to go down elegantly, you also have to come back up just as confidently ... Both Willem-Alexander and the beautiful Máxima in her high heels mastered the situation with flying colors. More pictures from the state reception with many stops!
