This is what the next episode of "Spring - At the End of Summer" is about
For the first time, four episodes of "Spring" will be shown in a row. In episode 18 of the popular series about protagonist Katja Baumann, she is faced with a particularly big challenge. On the way to a job interview, mother-of-two Judith Kleinke dies in a tragic accident. Now the village helper, played by Simone, has to explain to little Marie and her sister Nora that their mother has died and support the family once again. And what does this terrible loss mean for the budding romance between Nora Kleinke and Adrian (played by Kristo Ferkic)?
While Katja gets to the bottom of Judith's accidental death and reaches her limits, a plague of ladybugs has descended on Frühling and made her and Jan's cellar their headquarters.
A happy ending in Frühling?
Simone Thomalla has been playing the leading role of Katja in the "Frühling" series for eight years now. The 53-year-old explains the success of the series as follows:
This is mainly due to Katja and her cosmos, set in a beautiful region. And, of course, the stories about people who reach their limits and need help, which are always wonderfully told and very contemporary.
But alongside all the dramas that take place in Frühling, one thing is particularly important to the actress and her crew. "We always send viewers off into the night on Sunday evening with a good feeling," says Thomalla.
Exclusive look behind the scenes
