Happy ending: Two people with a long history have married after all - Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall are the residents of Clarence House.

Clarence House - the four-storey residence of Prince Charles and Camilla. Clarence House was built by John Nash between 1825 and 1827 for George III's third son, the Duke of Clarence. From 1953 to 2002, Queen Mum (mother of Queen Elizabeth II) also lived in the palace for almost 50 years. Clarence House has been open to the public every August since 2003.
