TV-Germany mourns

Great mourning in Munich and throughout Germany. As reported by ZDF and the "Bild" newspaper, Siegfried Rauch was killed in a fall down a flight of stairs in his home in Untersöchering, south of Munich. He was 85 years old.

Farewell to the "Traumschiff" captain

Siegfried Rauch was a familiar face in the German TV landscape. Whether as captain in the successful ZDF series "Traumschiff", as "Bergdoktor" or in "Bei aller Liebe" - Siegfried Rauch helped shape German television history for almost fifty years. Rauch has been in front of the camera for various TV projects since the 1970s - now it's time to say goodbye.
