During the holidays, we often put ourselves under pressure to celebrate the perfect Christmas . With a glowing Christmas tree, good food, shining children's eyes and original presents. Between all the colorful packages, we often lose sight of what really counts and is important.
So take time during the holidays to become aware of the real gifts in your life. Your loved ones and friends, all the good things you have and all the beautiful things that have happened to you this year. In the daily grind, gratitude and appreciation are all too easily forgotten. We take many things for granted because we have simply become accustomed to them.
Yet studies show that gratitude increases well-being. More positive feelings are experienced, because a good mood and gratitude go hand in hand. "Thank you" is simply a beautiful thought that creates a deep sense of satisfaction and joy within us.
Try it out during the holidays! Pause every now and then to become aware of your true gifts and enjoy the pleasant feeling of contentment that spreads through these treasures in your life. After all, the most precious gifts, such as love, friendship and health, cannot be wrapped in wrapping paper. Merry and peaceful Christmas!
