New year, new luck: 2018 will be my lucky year!

We now have twelve exciting months ahead of us, full of new opportunities. We are letting go of old habits and making room for what is good for us and enriches us. New year, new happiness: this is how you can let happiness move in with you.

2018 will be MY year!

Because that's over now ...

Do you know that too? These constant justifications. And the tendency to belittle ourselves - as if we don't deserve to find happiness. Yet it's right in front of us. Come on, let's clear the way ...

Evaluate yourself and compare yourself with others

We know that There will always be someone who is a little prettier, smarter and slimmer. We also know that comparing ourselves with others leads nowhere. It just puts you in a bad mood. That's why we're going to stop now. We are not perfect. But who says we have to be?

Saying yes too often and turning down necessary help

A request that we can't refuse someone, a task that we "just" take on for others - and we've already taken on the role of the person who can be forced to do everything. Not anymore in the future, because "no" is also a great word. On the other hand, we shouldn't forget that we have lots of lovely people at our side who are happy to support us when needed. Put an end to the idea that we always have to manage everything on our own and be endlessly strong and resilient.

Living in yesterday and tomorrow instead of today

We so often think about the past, asking ourselves whether we could have done this or that better. Or we think about tomorrow, consider what awaits us and whether we are well enough prepared for it. And today? Unfortunately, we quickly lose sight of that. But it's so much nicer to live in the moment. Try it out right away!

Avoid mistakes and miss opportunities

For fear of doing something wrong and not living up to certain expectations, we don't even dare to tackle some tasks. As a result, we miss out on sooo many enriching opportunities. Only when we make mistakes, learn from them and grow from them do we make progress in life.

Accumulating ballast and clinging to routines

Somehow it gives you a feeling of security: storing up everything and clinging to habits. But this feeling is deceptive. The more we accumulate, the more we burden ourselves. The first few days of the new year are ideal for a thorough clear-out - including mentally. This way, we can get off to a lively start and recharge our batteries.

... and I'm starting afresh with this

As wonderfully indulgent as we are with others, we are often strict with ourselves. But only if we value ourselves and treat ourselves with love can we live a fulfilled and happy life in the long term. What are we actually waiting for?

Accepting praise and celebrating every single success

When was the last time we gratefully accepted compliments such as "You did a great job!" or "That color looks great on you!" without watering them down? In future, we will be genuinely happy about them and use them to boost our self-confidence. We also celebrate our successes: passing the exam, repairing the car ourselves, mastering the move - there are certainly many reasons to be proud of ourselves in 2018. If we tell others about it, we share the joy.

Appreciate yourself and take care of your health

Of course, it's the inner values that count. But we also pay more attention to our bodies now and show them that we value them: with a healthy diet, exercise, a great pampering program at the hairdresser ...

Think about yourself to be there for others too

How wonderful: a harmonious relationship with our loved ones. We are happy to make compromises for this, sometimes we cut back. But not at any price. And not always. It is just as important to pay attention to our own needs. Only if we are always completely with ourselves can we also be completely there for others.

Accept weaknesses and turn them into strengths

Are we impatient, shy or ruminate a lot? Let's gain something positive from these supposed weaknesses: we work quickly without dawdling, we can take a step back and are not intrusive towards others, we think carefully before making important decisions. Quite strong traits, aren't they?

Having confidence and looking forward to new things

No more self-blocking! We believe in ourselves and our abilities. We accept challenges and look forward to the unknown. We enter the new year with confidence. Because our motto from now on is: Anything is possible!
