Send your inner critic on vacation

Do you know that inner nagger who is constantly trying to tell us what we can and can't do? The one who takes away all our courage by saying "I can't, I can't" and thus successfully sows the seeds of self-doubt? Our happiness expert Dr. Sandra Boltz reveals that this is usually due to inner beliefs that we have accumulated unnoticed over the course of our lives.

Letting go of negative beliefs

These negative beliefs, which we have unconsciously stored internally, slow us down. They represent inner barriers that strongly influence our feelings and actions. They also have a negative impact on our self-confidence and self-esteem. They make us feel downright small. This doesn't achieve much, apart from making us feel emotionally worse. Negative beliefs function like a pair of glasses through which we perceive the world in a manipulated way. We need to see clearly again! But before we can counteract the negative views about ourselves, we first have to recognize them.

There's no such thing as can't!

So why don't you consciously pay attention to your own thoughts about yourself today? How do you internally comment on your actions? If you discover anything negative, such as: "I'm not good enough for this" or "I'll never learn this", stop this train of thought immediately. Don't think it any further. Tell your inner critic:"You're free now!".

Take a moment to question the negative views. Are these beliefs even true? Are they good for you? Or are you just putting obstacles in your own way?

Send your inner critic on vacation

And then simply turn the tables and talk to yourself benevolently. Strengthen yourself with uplifting, affirming words. Let yourself be driven by kindness towards yourself today and not by self-criticism.
You will see that life is very good without your inner critic. So how about simply extending the vacation for the grumbler and motivation killer? After all, the boss is you!
