Positive self-esteem also releases positive energy within us - for a liberated life!

If you have a negative perception of yourself, you also have negative self-esteem - and vice versa. This is simply a logical deduction. In other words, you have to change one thing so that the other is right - only then can you look at yourself, your life and your surroundings in a positive light again and lead a liberated and happy life. If you don't break this vicious circle, you have a high probability of developing depression. Here's how you can (re)gain positive self-esteem with the 7-2-1 rule.

Boost your self-esteem with the 7-2-1 rule

7-2-1 rule: 7 days a week...

look for at least one thing every day that you have done particularly well or that you are proud of. These can be big things, but also small things that have ensured a harmonious or successful daily routine such as

... having completed a difficult customer call at work to your satisfaction
... having finally invited your mother-in-law for coffee
... telling the neighbors that the collected shoes in the hallway are a nuisance

As you can see: We get a lot done in our everyday lives, but often pay little attention to things ourselves or don't always get them from other people. Many things are simply taken for granted. Be more mindful and congratulate yourself - a mental pat on the back and self-praise never hurt anyone.

7-2-1 rule: 2 days a week ...

... you should only think about yourself. Simply switch off from everyday life and pamper yourself, for example with...

... a shopping trip
... a long overdue phone call or meeting with your best friend
... a special meal

You're sure to think of something you can treat yourself to. This will motivate you and you can look forward to something again. We can't always wait for others to do something good for us. Create highlights in your life yourself!

7-2-1 rule: 1 day a week...

... Look for a challenge. If you always do the same thing, you won't learn anything new. It's also good to leave your comfort zone and face up to fears or challenges. Are you afraid of spiders? Then go to confrontation therapy now and face your phobia - overcoming something releases huge powers within us. Other examples would be...

... standing up to your boss and simply saying no for once
... mucking out and getting rid of old things
... Asking someone out on a date

Challenges take us further in life, because our courage grows with every task we overcome. The next hurdle immediately seems less difficult. And if you don't manage something, don't despair straight away. Failing at something is part of life. Take it in your stride and perhaps try again - sometimes it's just that the method of implementation wasn't right.
