Acupressure: these points help you lose weight

Acupressure originates from traditional Chinese medicine and is said to relieve pain and other ailments. It can also help us to lose weight. These four acupressure points help with this.

Activating these three acupressure points can help us lose weight.

Acupressure is closely related to acupuncture, both of which originate from traditional Chinese medicine. In contrast to acupressure, acupuncture uses needles. Acupressure, on the other hand, is the stimulation of certain points on the body using the fingers. Pressing these three points can help you lose weight.

Stay full for longer thanks to this acupressure point

Sometimes we want to keep eating because it tastes so good and we just don't get full. In situations where you have actually eaten enough but just don't feel full, it is best to press the acupressure point "Lake of Extinction". This is located in the middle of the upper arm on the outside between the shoulder and elbow, approximately at chest level. Hold it for approx. 30 seconds and you should feel full.

Stimulate the metabolism with the help of acupressure

If you want to lose weight, you need to boost your metabolism. The "United Valleys" point supports the metabolism and is also said to strengthen the immune system. You will find the acupressure point in the small hollow between your thumb and index finger. Enclose it with the thumb and index finger of the other hand and apply gentle pressure. It is best to hold for around four minutes.

Support for our liver

Press the "decorated gate". Both points are intended to support our liver in detoxifying the body and stimulate fat loss. You can easily find the acupressure points by simply pressing your arms to the side of your body. The "decorated gate" is located at the point where our elbows touch our ribs. Keep both points pressed for about three minutes.

Acupressure: this point works against cravings

Are you suddenly overcome by cravings for sweets or snacks? Try acupressure and press the point between your nose and upper lip for approx. 90 seconds. Simply press and hold gently for this long. This should reduce both your appetite and the feeling of hunger.
