Helps with toothache

Clove or saline solution

A whole clove helps with a sore tooth. If the pain allows it, simply bite down hard on it. The essential oils in the clove fight the inflammation and relieve the discomfort. If it hurts too much to bite on it, place the clove in your mouth next to the tooth and keep it there for five minutes.
Another very good remedy is to rinse your mouth with a strong saline solution. To do this, take two teaspoons of normal table salt and dissolve it in a little warm tap water. Keep the solution in your mouth until the pain subsides - this usually takes two minutes.

Relieves headaches

A little peppermint oil

If you have a headache: pure peppermint oil from the pharmacy (e.g. Euminz) provides immediate relief. Simply rub a few drops onto your forehead or temples - exactly where it hurts. The herbal active ingredient quickly penetrates the skin to the pain points and activates the body's own pain defense systems. The effect sets in after five minutes at the latest.

For bruises

Cold tap water

Cold paralyzes the pain of bruises, sprains or strains. For this reason, you should cool the area of such an injury immediately and run cold water over it for five minutes. If the hip or back is bruised, it is best to soak a cloth in cold water, wring it out a little and place it on the area. Remove after five minutes. If you wish, you can also repeat the cold therapy every half hour for five minutes. Incidentally, this also often prevents bruising or bruising.

For neck pain

Massage towards the heart

􏰂 The secret of an effective massage for a sore neck: The stroking movements lead away from the head, towards the heart. Stroke the two muscle strands in the neck with your fingers from the lower hairline to the beginning of the shoulder with firm finger pressure. Do not massage both sides at the same time, but one after the other. The pain will subside after five minutes.

For menstrual pain

Press the lower leg

Menstrual pain occurs because the uterus contracts in order to expel the mucous membrane in which no egg has implanted. This exercise relieves cramps within five minutes: sit on the floor and bend your left leg slightly. Then press a specific point on the inside of the lower leg with your right thumb - it is about ten centimetres below the knee and two finger widths next to the shin. Then repeat the exercise with your right leg and left thumb.

For the back

Slouching

This helps with cramped, aching back muscles: crouch down on the balls of your feet and knees and round your back. Cross your arms in front of your head. Rest your forehead on your arms. And now lower your bottom as low as possible for five minutes - this stretches the spine.

Burning eyes

Rub the bridge of your nose

Working at a computer screen is also hard work for the eyes. Press with your fingertips to the right and left of the bridge of your nose. Then use your index finger to massage the points to the right and left of the root of the nose in a clockwise direction. This relaxes burning, tired eyes.
