This is why many people reach for their sewing machine and sew themselves a fabric mask. Self-sewn makeshift masks do not offer total protection against infection. Nevertheless, you are at least a little safer from flying droplets. Nevertheless, keep your distance!

Keep your eyes open - many small tailors or alteration tailors are now also sewing fabric masks in your area.
On ebay, fabric masks cost between five and 20 euros.
