A face mask is a sought-after commodity these days - however, surgical masks and FFP masks are often sold out or are sometimes overpriced. This is why many people reach for their sewing machine and sew themselves a fabric mask. Self-sewn makeshift masks do not offer total protection against infection. Nevertheless, you are at least a little safer from flying droplets. Nevertheless, keep your distance!

But not everyone has a sewing machine at home. There's only one thing to do: buy fabric masks to protect yourself as best you can against the virus. Our tips:
The manufacturer Zofino sells fabric masks, for example with stars, in plain gray or black for around 15 euros each.
Keep your eyes open - many small tailors or alteration tailors are now also sewing fabric masks in your area.
On ebay, fabric masks cost between five and 20 euros.
Do you want it fashionable? MaisonCommon offers self-sewn masks for around 40 euros. The fashion brand Peter Kaiser is also involved and makes fabric masks for around 30 euros.
