How to toughen up properly

Miserable weather and cold weather will soon really get to us again. And then the annoying cold pathogens will attack again. But to make sure they don't get a chance, you should boost your immune system before the cold season around October and build up a real virus bulwark. Hardening up is very easy.

Sauna:

Sweating once a week at 90 degrees - this significantly improves our immune system. Studies have shown that sauna-goers catch colds significantly less often. The reason for this is jumping into the cold pool. The cold stimulus trains the cardiovascular system and stimulates blood circulation in the hands and feet. At the same time, the blood flow to the nasal and throat mucous membranes also increases.

Alternating shower:

If you don't like saunas, you can achieve the same effect with alternating showers. The key is to always start hot and finish cold. Then rub off vigorously to increase blood circulation even more. Foot baths also boost the immune system: place a bowl of hot water next to a bowl of cold water and soak your feet alternately for 3 minutes.
