Select detergent
Color detergents do not contain bleach or optical brighteners. It is better to use powder detergents. They also contain greying inhibitors that prevent dirt particles from settling on the fibers. Adjust the dosage of washing powder to the level of soiling and the hardness of the water.
Adjusting the water
New washing machines use very little water. This is good for the environment, but causes dirt to stick to absorbent white laundry. Therefore, select the water-plus button and an additional rinse cycle for heavily soiled laundry.
Use the sun
Hang white laundry outside to dry on sunny days and spray with a little water in between - helps with bleaching. Extra tip: When washing, add a few drops of blue ink to the fabric softener compartment to neutralize yellowing. This will keep your whites whiter for longer.
