Beware of these 6 hygiene traps in the household

Sure, we keep everything in good shape at home - scrubbing, sweeping, cleaning. All in all, a clean thing. Keyboards collect a lot of crumbs, dust and flakes of skin - be sure to clean them regularly!

Keyboard

Crumbs, dust and flakes of skin collect here. So knock them out regularly and clean the spaces between them with cotton buds. Wipe the keys with a lint-free, damp cloth.

Cream gel

Up to 80 percent of all infectious diseases are transmitted via the hands. Therefore, only reach into the jar with washed fingers, otherwise bacteria will quickly multiply there.

Toilet

The problem is not usually the seat or the toilet bowl. However, bacteria are stirred up when flushing and can splash up to six meters away. So always close the lid.

Sink

Clean thoroughly with hot water and washing-up liquid after each use, otherwise bacteria will quickly settle here and be passed on.

Raw food

Many pathogens enter the house with raw food, especially fish, meat and eggs. So put them in the fridge immediately - separately from other food - and use a separate board for cutting them.

Handles

Microorganisms accumulate on them, just like on all fittings. If they are not cleaned regularly, dangerous viruses can survive on them for weeks.

Storage containers

The containers are practical and indispensable household helpers for most of us in everyday life - but with frequent use, the plastic becomes brittle and cracked. This makes it particularly easy for germs and bacteria to penetrate. Therefore, wipe out thoroughly with water and washing-up liquid after each use and allow to dry thoroughly.
