Tea not only warms us from the inside, the used bags can also be useful in the household.

Make leather shine: For example, if your favorite black leather shoes are starting to get dull, simply rub them with a still damp bag (or several if necessary) of black tea, then leave to dry and polish with a soft cloth.

Getting pots clean: Grease and burnt-on food are often very stubborn and can only be cleaned by scrubbing vigorously. A gentler way is to place the pots in the sink, pour in warm water and add used black tea bags. Leave overnight and rinse.

Remove odors: Do your sports shoes smell? Leave used tea bags to dry and leave them in overnight. The smell will be gone in the morning.

Soothe minor burns: For small, superficial wounds on the skin, moisten a used bag of black tea and place it on the area. The tannins it contains soothe the skin.
