Proper care of leather shoes
After wearing, clean with a brush that is not too rough; for smooth leather, use a little water. Then allow the shoe to dry well: either use a wooden shoe tree or stuff it with newspaper. Apply matching shoe polish from the drugstore to the dry shoe, using a cotton cloth or a very fine brush. Allow to soak in for 30 minutes, then polish and impregnate suede leather.
Making leather bags last longer
Patent leather is very resistant, it only needs to be wiped with a damp cloth from time to time. Treat smooth leather with special care milk or Vaseline to prevent it from drying out. Never clean suede with water. Remove stains with a special leather brush or use a suede eraser. When storing, make sure that the bags are protected from intense UV light and heat.
Extending the life of leather jackets
Impregnate suede leather immediately after purchase. Dab fresh stains with a paper towel without rubbing. Do not use water, otherwise stains will form. Regular, sparing application of leather grease or oil prevents the jacket from losing moisture and grease.
Care tips for leather furniture
Always clean large areas from seam to seam first, then care for them: never apply cleaning products directly to the material, but apply them with a sponge or cloth made of lint-free natural fibers. For color-intensive furniture, it is best to use a care cream with a sun protection factor to prevent premature fading of the colors.
