What the book is about

Caro senses that the pearl necklace of a deceased patient hides a secret. She decides to travel to the small North Sea island of Juist. This way she can fulfill Elfriede's wish and take the little break she has been longing for with hot apple punch in the icy wind and rough surf outside the windows.

Anne Barns is the pseudonym of author Andrea Russo. A few years ago, the teacher decided to give up her job to devote herself entirely to writing. She loves reading, cake and the sea.
