One popular option is to register with portals to take part in online surveys and earn a few cents or even euros. You can also test products, check the usability of websites and maintain address lists for companies.

How do I recognize dubious side jobs?

"Stay away from offers that seem extremely lucrative," warns Julia Rehberg, a lawyer at the consumer advice center in Hamburg. They are almost always fraudulent. Offers that require you to make financial advance payments should also be rejected immediately. You should also never make your own bank account available to the client.
