It rarely happens that you can remove the sticker in one go and nothing is left behind. The exact opposite is more likely to be the case. So: remove adhesive residue - quickly and easily.
Removing adhesive residue with cooking oil
Dab oil along the edges of the price tag or similar stickers. The oil slowly creeps underneath and loosens the adhesive. Leave for a while, then peel off. Also works on plasters on the skin.
Remove adhesive residue with orange cleaner
This is sure to work - and it smells good too. It is best to use a concentrate of orange cleaner, dilute with a little water, apply and leave to work for a short time. After a while, you can easily remove labels. For stubborn adhesive residues, use the concentrate pure.
Remove adhesive residue with hot air
Warm the sticker with a hairdryer and lift one corner. If this works, blow the hot air into the gap. Slowly peel off the label.
Get rid of adhesive residue with lacquer thinner
Not environmentally friendly, but effective if nothing else helps. The thinner should be left to work for at least five minutes.
