Who is entitled to an employee savings allowance?

The cash benefits that the employer invests for the employee are available to those who do not exceed a certain income. The following applies to building society savings contracts: the taxable annual income of singles must not exceed 17,900 euros - for married couples it must not exceed 35,800 euros. For equity funds, the limit is 20,000 and 40,000 euros respectively. You can apply for the state benefit by enclosing the VL annex with your income tax return.

Riester subsidy or Rürup pension, which is worthwhile for me?

The Riester pension is subsidized with allowances and is suitable for savers with many children. The Rürup pension is subsidized with tax advantages and benefits higher earners and the self-employed. Caution: with today's fall in interest rates, calculate carefully.

When does long-term care insurance come into effect?

If the insured person has been recognized as being in need of long-term care for at least six months, they will receive benefits from their long-term care insurance. The amount of money depends on the care level. But who provides the care and how it is provided also plays a role - whether it is provided at home by a relative, by an external care service or in a care home. State benefits for parents: Parental allowance plus

This state benefit is intended for parents who work part-time while receiving parental allowance. It replaces the portion of income that is lost due to part-time work. With this variant, you only receive half as much money per month, but for twice the period. Depending on your net earnings before the birth, you will receive between 150 and 900 euros per month.

Under what conditions do I get housing benefit?

If you receive Hartz IV, for example, you will not receive housing benefit. Otherwise, eligibility and the amount of housing benefit depend on the number of family members, the amount of rent and your income.
