Pan cleaner
Rusted and encrusted iron pans can be easily cleaned by heating them and then rubbing them thoroughly with a little salt and kitchen paper.
Laundry protection
Delicate silk items are best washed by hand. To prevent the color from running, simply add a little salt to the wash water.
Color refresher
Unfortunately, carpet rugs in bright colors often fade after a while. In this case, sprinkle damp salt over a large area, leave to work for about an hour and then vacuum well. Now everything shines with fresh colors - like new!
