Did you know what else our favorite beauty product, nail polish, can be used for?

Not only looks good on the nails...

You probably also have one or two nail polishes at home. Unfortunately, the colors in opened bottles quickly become viscous. They are then no longer suitable for the nails, but can certainly be used as practical helpers.

Envelopes
The adhesive flap on envelopes often adheres poorly if the envelopes are stored for a long time. Simply seal the envelopes with clear nail polish.

Gift ribbon
Whether shoelaces or gift ribbons made of yarn, paint the ends with matching nail polish to prevent them from fraying.

Colored tableware
Some small imperfections in porcelain, such as a slightly chipped edge, can be quickly repaired with a steady hand and a little polish.

Protect jewelry
Costume jewelry tarnishes easily or the coating becomes unsightly over time. Either seal it with clear nail polish or repaint it with a metallic polish. Colorless nail polish can also be used to repair runs in tights.

Keys
To make it easier to distinguish similar keys on a key ring, dots of fluorescent varnish can help - they even glow in the dark!
