Arranging flowers: Smaller bouquets in particular often look a little lost in larger vases. In this case, it helps to stick a net of tesa strips across the vase opening and arrange the individual flowers in the spaces in between. This makes the bouquet look much more lush.
Remove ticks: If you don't have special pliers to hand: Stick sellotape on the insect, carefully remove from the skin. Roll it up in the tape and dispose of it - that way it won't crawl out of the garbage can.
Protect walls: Want to hang up your new picture? Before you hammer the nail into the wall, stick masking tape around the relevant area. Then the plaster won't crumble away.
Collect individual parts: Stick the remaining screws, nails, knobs etc. onto cardboard or paper with Sellotape and write where the individual item comes from. Create a collection box for the found objects.
